Campus Unification Project (PrezPride)
Washington & Jefferson College
The Campus Unification project’s goal was to strengthen campus community by building pride in the institution. I started by designing the PrezPride logo (the heart logo), which would be the official logo of the campaign. I had the logo printed on a weatherproof decal and then installed dozens of them it quitely around various places on campus. This created a viral campaign which started activity on social media. The next step was to publish posters, with the aid of a student intern, around campus which highlighted interesting and exciting facts about the College. A sampling of these are below. Finally, I designed and worked with a local company to install a massive “PrezPride” window decal in the center of campus.
You Are Empowered
CONSOL Energy
The “You Are Empowered” campaign was designed to help employees understand that they are empowered to shut equipment down and halt work if an unsafe condition existed. To ensure that employees knew that management supported this policy, the head of each operation submitted a photo to me and I put them in an “Uncle Sam” style pose and had them professionally printed. As team, we tied the “You Are Empowered” brand and messaging into various video projects during this time. Finally, I worked with a vendor to get “I am Empowered” reflective hard hat stickers for employees to wear as a reminder of their ability to create a safe environment.
3P Hand Safety Program

In response to an uptick in hand injuries, I worked with the Safety department to launch the 3P program. We went to a local hospital and used an operating room for staged photos and a video shoot. I also designed a simple vinyl banner that could be cost-effectively displayed at every mine and gas site, along with the posters.
Intervention Prevention

The Intervention Prevention program was a bystander awareness initiative launched by the Safety department in an effort to get employees to speak up when they witnessed a peer working in an unsafe situation. The campaign included reflective hard hat stickers, posters, and videos for each operation.
